Matthew Arnold’s poems are intimate and delicate, while still maintaining the dignity and clarity of thought we know from his critical work. This new edition contains the entirety of Matthew Arnold’s œuvre, from his 1849 collection ‘The Strayed Reveller and Other Poems’, to ‘New Poems’ from 1867, and other poems not gathered in collections.
